photo by @chamiltonjames (Charlie Hamilton James). Two North American river otters playing in the snow yesterday. Otters are the most playful creatures I have ever worked with. They seem to a particular fondness for fun in the snow. I've been working with a family of seven otters for the past couple of weeks and when they have finished their days fishing, they get on with the important work of running around after each other, sledding down hills on their bellies and digging holes in the snow. Shot on assignment for an @ナショナルジオグラフィック special issue on the Greater Yellowstone eco-system.
