After an interview with Sardar Mousa Kamali (head of the human resources of the Iranian military) it does not seem likely that both issues will be resolved as he proclaimed "Whoever breaks the law and tries to cut corners to get around the laws of the Islamic republic and obtain an illegitimate exemption does not belong in the national team." Despite Kamali's reluctance to allow the two to join Team Meli, the federation will continue to negotiate with him over the next few days.
