This past year has been absolutely incredible for me personally, for #BridegroomMovie, and for the country as a whole. ______________________________ From Mexico to Ireland to Australia to my home state Montana, I flew over 100,000 miles this year! I visited dozens of universities and spoke at numerous LGBT fundraisers, giving me the opportunity to meet thousands of you. I marched in San Francisco's Pride Parade for the first time, was named one of OUT Magazine's 100 Most Inspiring People of 2014 and I also got to see two of my best friends, Alex and Scott, marry the loves of their lives, which was so exciting. ______________________________ There was Oscar and Emmy buzz around #Bridegroom, which also received the GLAAD and Dorian Awards for Best Documentary. We continued to screen the film all over the world. ______________________________ In spite of an influx of national and global turmoil, I was inspired by how many states overturned marriage bans and have been working to ensure equal rights for LGBT citizens. _____________________________ I'm forever grateful for how far my story has spread and how many people it's reached. As much as I appreciate the recognition, what means the most to me are the letters, messages, and comments I receive from people who have been inspired by my journey. Thank you all for your love and support.
