A hawksbill turtle lays it's eggs on a remote beach on Oman's Damaniyat Islands. The glow of city lights from Muscat, Oman's capital can be seen on the horizon. In the old days hawksbill turtle would also nest in large numbers on those mainland beaches, but light pollution and development has reduced their numbers to a trickle.
