Today #BKMLibrary highlights unique archeological “squeezes” from their Egyptology collection. Squeezes are paper impressions, formed by pressing soft, wet, moldable paper on object inscriptions resulting in a mirrored impression. Used as an alternative to photography as far back as the 18th-Century, archeologists used queeze-making in order to study ancient hieroglyphics and reliefs. #BKMEgyptianart
