You would not like how I wear my pants, or the language in the music my generation made, but I know you would understand. I know you would not talk bad about me in public and in the media the way those that came after you did. You would love and empower youth, so we wouldn't feel alone the way we did in the 70's & 80's while many of our parents got high and gave up, depressed after they killed you & Malcolm. Things got deep Sir. Our inability to understand real estate, economics & exercise our right to vote have set the neighborhoods we call our own back, but this HipHop thing took our story to the world. We created entrepreneurs and are attempting to correct the damage done to us after they killed you, served us crack & guns then filled the jails.. Did you hear prisons are a privately run business and you can purchase stocks in them? Crazy right? Yea profiting... So creating an environment to birth more criminals gets people paid. Well, we are still working and believing the way you did in what America could be, so thank you. We WILL NOT let you down, it's just taking longer than expected. #RIPMLK #HBDMLK
