This collection takes its inspiration from 1970s Southern California. It’s a New Yorker’s view of LA, evoking a man who loves West Coast architecture, landscape and culture. It’s also influenced by films of that era, in particular Robert Altman’s The Long Goodbye, starring Elliot Gould.
