Photo @Keith Ladzinski / While traversing a 13,000 foot ridge in the collegiate mountains in Colorado my real concern was that the surrounding storm above me might blast me off the mountain. The wind was howling and the rocks were making a hauntingly odd crackling sound under the menacing sky. Electricity was in the air and getting down was the priority. Slowly the sky opened up on the western horizon turning the entire scene from grey to gold in an unpredicted serene landscape. I was lucky enough to snap off a dozen or so frames. A few years ago I heard my good friend @daveblackphoto say that light is the greatest influence to a photograph. I couldn't have said it any better. @natgeocreative
