I was doing a story on the Irrawaddy River for @ナショナルジオグラフィック - and keep thinking of what image I would get once the monsoon arrived in a few months. At the end of the story I was at the last village on the river - watching my government minder playing cards, when the skies opened up - I ran outside alone, and stood, hidden on the side of a little shop - this little girl had been playing with her friends. When the skies opened up she stopped, head back mouth open in pure childhood joy, drinking the rain - when she heard my shutter - she laughed and ran away. "Be Water" - Bruce Lee
