This mans story has been on my mind and heart all day. This pilot was only 26 years old when his plane crashed and he was taken by ISIS as a prisoner of war. His life was being used as a bargaining chip in exchange for a female ISIS POW that failed a suicide mission and was alive and well. When the trade didn't take place 26 year old Moaz al-Kasasbeh was doused in petrol and burned alive in an iron cage while ISIS members watched and filmed and took pictures without flinching despite the screams. How? Why? How can mankind treat one another like this? It sickens me to know people are doing this to each other every day. And so many have become desensitized to it. Not me tho. I just can't wrap my brain around this. The sad part is how religion is often the "reason" for such horrific acts. One can only wish and hope that these vile acts cease...and people start to value every life- whether they agree with your beliefs or not. ????
