"My goal for this journey was simple: Open the most beautiful line I could open. And I’ve found one in this zone. It was only the first spot we’ve found but I was certain this boulder would be among the most beautiful lines we would encounter. This boulder represents precisely what I was looking for in Namibia, a tough boulder with amplitude and a logical line too. I’ve cleaned it, put all the moves together and at the evening when I had good conditions, I achieved my first ascent of «Le Diamant, 8A+».
