Managed to throw 50.79m, not quite the distance I was looking for, however every international competition comes with its own twists and turns - having the competition pushed back to 9pm due to extremely high temperatures is definitely something that wouldn't happen in NZ ?
Overall I ended up in 4th place behind some incredible throwers such as Commonwealth Bronze Medalist @kelsey_roberts ?
For now, it's back to the drawing board in preparation for the NZ Track and Field Champs where I will compete to defend my title as Senior Women's Javelin Champion and Record Holder ?
