Some of you may know that our beloved Director, #ArnoldLehman will be retiring this June. As part of the #BKArtistsBall, we'll be presenting Arnold with the Augustus Graham Medal in recognition of his visionary leadership and transformation of the Museum and his unwavering support of Brooklyn’s art community. We will also be honoring three acclaimed contemporary artists who have had major exhibitions during Arnold’s tenure - #KikiSmith, @村上隆 and #JeanMichelBasquiat. Many of us have our favorite BKM memories during Arnold’s 18 years as our fearless leader and each Thursday we will share some of them with you.
