PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にPostがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。
本日はその中から「PARIS MORTEL retouche」をご紹介いたします。
オランダの写真家ヨハン・ファン・デル・クーケンの代表作のひとつとなる写真集です。
彼は17歳当時に同世代の友人たちを被写体とした「17歳」という写真集で知られ、20代前半には映画監督へと転身しました。
そのため写真集については寡作な写真家としても知られています。
表紙はオリジナル版の見開きをそのままレイアウトし、前半部分には同時期に撮影されたもののオリジナル版には収録されなかったショットも収録されています。

At PORTER STAND we carry photobooks selected by POST under a concept of "TRIP".
Among the selections, today we would like to introduce "PARIS MORTEL retouche".
It is one of the masterpieces of Johan van der Keuken who is a photographer from Holland.
He first became famous by a photobook called "We are 17" which he published when he was 17 years old, taking pictures of his friends the same age. He soon became a movie director in his early 20s.
Therefore as a photographer, he is also known as an unprolific photographer.
The cover uses the center spread just like it was in the original version, and also in the first pages of the book you could find some photos that were taken at the same time but not included in the original version.
