Midnight Manta by @daviddoubilet A manta ray soars through a beam of light to feed on the plankton swarms attracted by the concentrated light. Mantas can live to 50 + years of age, maturing at 8-10 years and give live birth to 1 pup (rarely 2) every 2-3 years. #Manta populations are being severely reduced around the globe due to a growing demand for gill rakers for Asian Markets.
