"We left Baga in the middle of the night when Boko Haram attacked. Many people were killed that night. I managed to leave with my 5-year-old granddaughter Luba. I don’t know where her mother is, we got separated. After days traveling by canoe, we arrived to Ngouba and we were living in the town with some friends. Boko Haram attacked Ngouboua some weeks ago, burning houses and killing people. We managed to escape. We traveled by foot for several days to come, walking day and night through the bush to get to Dar es Salaam. Luba has witnessed too much senseless violence, I don’t know if she will be able to forget.
