They're taking donations of cracked cymbals, selling them, buying new gear with that money, and donating them to venues in Northeastern Japan; areas destroyed by the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011. The point is to bring more live bands to the areas to bring energy and good vibes over there. Incredible.
