The most amazing thing happened on dog Instagram tonight. I posted this picture three months ago. Castle was one of our favorite foster dogs but for whatever reason, he was never adopted for many many months. All the other dogs that were rescued after Castle got adopted one after another, but nobody was ever interested in him. So I took him home, did some training, and took some pictures...hoping that somebody here would fall in love with this gorgeous face with a heart shaped nose. Patti who lives in Michigan, who by the way was not looking for a dog to adopt at that time, saw this picture and she could not get him out of her head. Three months later, tonight, Patti and her husband came and became castles forever parents. Sometimes you wonder why things are not working out the way you want. But this reminded me that there is that special someone for everyone, for dogs and people. Castle was simply waiting for the right people all this time. When something like this happens, I can't help but feel romantic about life. #happyending
