The Ganges is a hybrid of backpack and tote, influenced by the geography of India’s most sacred river and its maritime delta. Just as the river Ganges originates from a single body of water to become a delta that fans out upon its journey to the sea, the soft triangle of the Ganges backpack begins at a narrow point below the shoulder and spreads towards the lower back. The inspiration of the Ganges comes from the furoshiki, a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth traditionally used to transport clothes, gifts and other goods.
