The sportsman of the year award I received today by Laureus. Such an honour.
I was thaught to never take for granted small things that happen to me and to always appreciate and value every step and every little milestone in life. The small things lead to big, important things. Like this one. So make sure you stop during the day to be grateful for small things you do in your life. One day they might just turn out to be the biggest things! Me taking a racket to play a ball as a kid was a small thing...and it ended up to be bigger than life. You waking up every morning and going to school/work might seem small, but trust me - it is big! Hope my success can inspire you to fight the odds, and turn them into your favour. Just like i did!
