This week’s #PurpleBlobOfTheWeek was a little more challenging to pick thanks to good swells littering the Globe. There is active or recently active “blobbage" in the North Pacific, North Atlantic, and South Pacific. However, all of that activity pales in comparison to the recent run the Indian Ocean has seen, and its kind of hard to ignore the big mass of purple directly under SW Australia at forecast hour zero (right now). So, this week’s #PurpleBlobOfTheWeek is courtesy of the active storm pushing east from the SE Indian Ocean. Today we received satellite confirmation that this storm contains a large area of 40-60kt winds and seas in excess of 40-45ft. This will be responsible for another major swell for exposed portions of South and West Australia as we move through the weekend, and we’re confident that the @世界プロサーフィン連盟（WSL） #MargaretRiverPro will welcome it with open arms. -- @mwillissurfline #SurflineForecast
