The structures as part of Tania Pérez Córdova's series "Things in Pause" (2013–ongoing), are made from materials that typically connote endurance and durability, in marked contrast to the fleeting lives of the objects themselves. In "We focus on a woman facing sideways, evening" (2014), on view at the top of the stairway of the Shaft Space between the 3rd and 4th Floors, her grandmother's earring is suspended from a handmade bronze cast of the gallery corner. #SurroundAudience #TA15
