Happy #EarthDay2015! We're proud to be the first Carbon Neutral High street retailer, and our carbon offset goes towards helping the amazing #MakiraProject, a rainforest in Madagascar. It's home to over 20 species of lemur, including the Silky Sifaka, one of the world's most endangered primates and is in danger of being destroyed by slash and burn farming.
Through the Makira Project, villagers living in the rainforest are learning about sustainable farming and have even set up an eco-lodge for tourists to provide income and give them a means to support themselves while protecting the precious environment.
