On this CATerday eve, i'd like to pay tribute to kitties like these who are sitting in shelters waiting to find another forever home. These two brothers on the left were declawed on all paws and turned into a shelter when their family had to move.The kitty on the right, named Stubby, was declawed on all four paws and surrendered to a shelter because he was not using his litter box and had biting issues. They were perfect little innocent cats and senselessly had their toe bones amputated because of selfish and lazy human beings. Now because of this cruel and inhumane thing that a veterinarian in the 50's invented and deceptively called it declawing so that it wouldn't seem so bad, 22 million cats in America, like these, are paying the price and suffering some sort of negative consequence because of their amputations. When will all cat people say enough is enough? When will we become a country like the UK and 27 other ones, who know it's inhumane and barbaric and make it illegal? When will all veterinary practices do the right thing and completely stop declawing innocent and perfect little kittys for the sake of a piece of furniture?
