Growing up I would watch my mom sew up matching outfits for my sister and me. She would drag us to the fabric store with her so she could pick out the patterns and fabric. She loved the fact that my sister and I would have matching outfits that no one else had, and we would stand out from the crowd. At a young age my mom taught me the importance of individuality, creativity, and passion.
