John Drengenberg, consumer safety director at UL, originally planned to work at the company for just a year. That was 49 years ago. John has become one of America’s most trusted stewards of safety, helping UL place its mark on 22 billion products, systems and materials each year. “It’s not just a bunch of guys and girls hitting hair dryers with hammers.
