Wishing the happiest of Mother' Days to these two incredible women, in this throw back to my McDonalds birthday party in 1989, in Port Macquarie. Special shout out to my beautiful Mum, and her nautical striped plastic earrings (she had a truly incredible collection of oversized, pastel and bold print disc earrings, which without a doubt remain as my earliest memory of statement jewellery, and I credit as an early inspiration to my career!) Looking forward to seeing Nan and Mum next weekend, and even though it's no ones birthday, might treat them to lunch at Macca's, just to recreate this photo!
