Sloan Foundation was recognized for its $1.1 million grant to support NYBG’s work on World Flora Online, Doron Weber, VP of the Sloan Foundation, called NYBG “one of the great jewels of this city.” He added, “We are huge fans of WFO and of NYBG’s lead role” in WFO, which will make comprehensive scientific information about 350,000 plant species available in one place for the first time.
