Photo by @edkashi/ @viiphoto: A nine year old girl who suffers from #AgentOrange disabilities is photographed in her home in Ngu Hanh Son district of Da Nang, #Vietnam on July 9, 2010. Agent Orange is a defoliating chemical used during the Vietnam War. Today, more than 150,000Vietnamese are living with the resultant health impacts of these chemicals, which include heart disease, deformities, learning disabilities, and physical and psychological problems. This image was featured in the “National Geographic Masters of Photography” course, that was recently on DVD and online. Taught by @NatGeophotographers, Ed Kashi is included in the roster of instructors for this educational resource.
