PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にPOSTがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。
本日は、新たに加わった写真集の中から「Minutes to Midnight」をご紹介いたします。
報道写真家集団のマグナムに所属するトレント・パーク(1971-)は、2年間にわたり オーストラリアの各地を旅して撮影をしました。
彼は2年間、90,000キロにも及ぶ長い旅の中で、変わりつつある国内の状況を、悲哀を感じさせるモノクロ写真で写し取りました。
2003年に出版され、すぐに話題となり絶版となってしまっていた写真集の待望の再版です。

Good Evening.
At PORTER STAND we carry photobooks selected by Post under a concept of "TRIP".
Today we would like to introduce "Minutes to Midnight" which has just been added to the line-up.
Trent Parke (1971-) who belongs to a photo journalist group called Magnum has been travelling across Australia for 2 years to shoot these photos.
During the 2 years which was a long journey of 90,000 kilometers, he took monochrome photos expressing the sadness of many situations starting to change within the country.
The photobook was first published in 2003, but despite it becoming a topic it went out of print.
This is the reprint version which was waited to come out for a long time.
We have the actual book in store.
