According to the UN, Yemen's waring factions agreed to a temporary week-long ceasefire set to begin this evening so that humanitarian assistance can reach all parts of the country. More than 3,000 people have been killed, including at least 279 children, since a Saudi-led coalition began air strikes in March to drive back Houthi rebels and restore the government. Another one million civilians have been displaced by the conflict. Aid agencies say a blockade on Yemen has worsened the humanitarian crisis which is gripping the country and now more than 80% of Yemen's 25 million people now need some form of aid and are at risk of malnutrition, diarrhea and other illnesses. @thephotosociety #yemen #oldcity #unesco #humanitarian #wedding
