Jaydickmanphoto. At the National Geographic "Wyoming's Cowboy Country" Photography Workshop in Dubois, Wyoming. Due to the large numbers of forest fires burning in Canada, the Wyoming skies during the workshops were impacted dramatically by the airborne particulate matter created by those fires. A normal sunset was enhanced by those atmospheric conditions-for photographers, a good thing to remember when photographing in locations with high humidity or other conditions which can produce visually appealing light conditions, as the sun's rays are spread out through the atmosphere, often providing wrap-around beautiful light.
