フィラデルフィア美術館のインスタグラム(philamuseum) - 7月20日 09時04分
Naum Gabo’s sculpture “Construction in Space: Two Cones” (1936)—which was in the @フィラデルフィア美術館 collection—fell apart in the 1960s, after the early form of plastic he used to make it deteriorated. In reaction to this, in 2014 artist Marianne Vierø created a 1:1 replica, using 3-D printing and recently developed plastics, exploring the ideas of construction and decay. See it and more thought-provoking works in “Into Dust: Traces of the Fragile in #ContemporaryArt”
