Bobcat takes in a new smell. This is called a grimace or flehmens response. He pulls this face 'grimaces' and the smell is drawn in through a opening in the palate called Jacobson's organ or the vomeronasal organ (VNO). He then stores this and will have memory of this smell next time he comes across it. #flehmen #vomeronasalorgan #savelions #savehabitat
