A: We love being able to quickly monitor the conversation around the #HolidayInn hashtag to keep up with what our guests are sharing. We have used iconosquare to reach out to guests and ask for permission to share their photos from our social accounts so we can highlight great photos from real guests to a wider audience. ________________________________________Q: How do you measure your brand influence on Instagram? A: We’re interested in what people are saying about our hotels and how they’re interacting with our brand. From a listening perspective, we look at the number of unsolicited hashtag uses for our brand, mentions of the brand, and tags we get in guest photos, as well as the sentiment associated with those interactions. For our brand account, we measure the overall volume of comments, engagements and account followers, as well as the sentiment expressed in comments.
