From July 10 to July 31 the Busan International Advertising Festival collaborated with Chinese portal site ifeng.com to survey which Korean spokesmodels Chinese people loved the most.

According to the official results, 2,830,805 people participated in the survey. Among those individuals, an overwhelming 1,228,977 people voted for Kim Soo Hyun crowning him the best Korean spokesmodel in China. Kim Soo Hyun’s recently ended drama KBS2′s “Producer” has helped increased his popularity in China and globally.

Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA received second place with 796,493 votes. Gary came in third place with 219,703. In fourth place was Super Junior’s Siwon with 193,993 votes. Last but not least, EXO came in fifth with 128,057 votes.

YoonA is gaining recognition in China due to her appearance in the Chinese drama “God of War Zhao Yun.” Likewise, Gary is being nicknamed “Asia’s Prince 2″ due to his popularity and role in the highly popular variety show “Running Man.” The Busan International Advertising Festival will hold an awards ceremony on August 22 and plans to have all of the award winners attend.
