"As a longtime fan, having grown up during the #SmashingPumpkins heyday, I was particularly excited to hear the news that original drummer #JimmyChamberlain had rejoined the fold. Both Jimmy and #BillyCorgan are very rare and authentic talents. So the goal for me was to highlight his presence as much as Billy's and try to capture some of the chemistry between them that I feel was so instrumental in making the Pumpkins the success they are. This is not easy under any circumstance, much less in three songs with very little light. Oh, and on assignment for the worldwide music magazine of record. No pressure. But these guys ooze artistic integrity. As long as they’re in the same frame, odds are you’ll get something above average. This was certainly the case here and it ended up making my job a lot easier. The intimacy of their connection reminded me of other great duos of the day: Gossard and McCready, Tucker and Brownstein, Flea and Smith, artists who, no matter how long the time between album or tour cycles, pick up right where they left off.
