Eat. Lift. Live. . . I seemed to have forgotten about that last segment of the @doughnutsanddeadlifts mantra. I love my sport. I love it so much to the point that i would let it kill me. Die a slow death of stress and pressure to perform eating at me. No more. I am back to lifting just for ME and my own pleasure and my own goals which are to reduce stress, have fun and use my athleticism to get freaky strong in the snatch and clean+jerk. I am eating to get stronger not to ensure i don't add any muscle mass so i don't exceed my weight class. I am lifting to add more weight on the bar not to win medals. I am nurturing relationships and friendships that were put on the back burner. I am not "Pope the 58"... I am just Kristin Pope.
