Photo by Jeff Gusky @hiddenwwi | One hundred years ago, German WWI soldiers found refuge here at this natural spring located several kilometers behind the front lines. Today the water still flows and the original Iron Crosses are as they were a century ago. Located east of the town of Saint-Mihiel, it is one of many sites that visitors can access and touch authentic links to WWI that are frozen-in-time.
