Yeo Toon Chia is an old stalwart who has served in the grassroots for half a century. He was branch secretary in Kampong Kapor before he became an MP in 1968, retired as an MP in 1996, but has continued to help me and my colleagues in Ang Mo Kio GRC look after residents ever since. Here he is with Intan Azura Mokhtar, just completing her first term as an MP on my GRC team.
