During Maggie (our daughter) and my hike on the “W” trail, as part of that 320 mile trek we did (maybe closer to a total of 47 miles-but it felt that longer distance!!) in Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. We hiked along the along the Rio Frances (seen tumbling amidst the boulders) in the Valle del Frances. This trail starts at Campo Italiano, then follows the river as you hike up to an amazing view of the Cordillera. This image was taken with an Olympus E-M1 & 9-18mm lens. 3 minute exposure creates the mercurial-looking water. Balanced light between foreground and background, and then brought levels into correct range, no post filters or post-processing. #JayDickmanPhoto #NatGeoTravel #ThePhotoSociety #NatGeoCreative
