Mid-century couture is something we have always looked at. The craft and skill involved in making these kinds of clothes is rarely seen today. It’s always inspiring to see these things up close. Valerie Steele and her team were kind enough to show us their new space. Here we are looking at Christian Dior’s “Columbine” evening dress from 1947, his first ever season.
