One of my favorite parts of #burningman is getting my film developed. In my 9 years of attending the festival I've brought all sorts of cameras imaginable: DSLRs, medium format, phones, toy cameras, disposables. But the best photos are always the ones I capture on the go, with my trusty little point & shoot dangling around my neck. The ones I only get if I'm quick to the draw, the moments in-between all the big stuff. There's something more to the shots I take when I'm not in "photographer mode" with my big camera out and ready.

I'm cleaning off the dust, and preparing for my next trip - but over the next week or so I'll be sharing more of these pictures on my blog. As a photographer I always feel like it's my duty to document everything, so I can present an accurate representation of what happens out there in that desert. It's impossible.

So I'll share some stories, and some silly photos of dusty friends, and count down the days 'til I head back out there to do whatever it is that we do all over again.
