Being happy and healthy involves so much more than working out and eating right. I try to set my working environment to promote relaxation and productivity. After all, at my desk is where I spend most of my days! We have all hit that infamous "3 o'clock wall", and here are my holistic office afternoon essentials that help push me through it!: - My oil diffuser that also doubles as a lamp. I put some Creative Juice by @auracacia in, set the lamp to whatever color is vibing with my current mood, and let the juices flow. ☺️ - A Himalayan salt lamp to purify the air. ? - the IRON plant based protein bar by @mb3natureschemistry to provide me with nutrient dense energy. ?? - A 30 minute hour glass to help keep me focused on one topic at a time. With all the individual projects we have going on simultaneously, it's easy for me to get sidetracked. I flip the hour glass and remain on a given task until it finishes. If I'm on a role, I'll remain on that task for another 30 minutes. If I find that I'm hitting a wall, I switch tasks! ⌛️ - Turmeric and Ashwagandha from Organic India. I don't typically believe in supplements, especially those that contain vitamins and minerals that should be consumed in a healthy diet. BUT, these two supplements have been a lifesaver to me over the past year. Turmeric has some of the most potent anti-inflammatory properties in the world! I had a knee injury a few years back and taking this everyday has helped me tremendously in keeping the inflammation down. Ashwagandha is an herb that promotes stress relief, improves energy levels, and strengthens the immune system.? #fitandthicktip #happyhumpday
