Meet Joe Anthony-Brown, part of the Guggenheim Facilities department's paint touch-up team responsible for painting the museum several times a week to ensure our building and art spaces look pristine. “Touch-up is the least demanding part of our job. The real action takes place during exhibition changeovers when we work up to and sometimes over 60 hours a week,” Anthony-Brown says. This extraordinary effort ensures that exhibitions are ready for the opening. With "Alberto #Burri: The Trauma of Painting" opening on October 9, the entire painting team is now hard at work ensuring that the finishing touches are put in every gallery in the museum. #FrankLloydWrightFridays
