"For the first time live, #thearcs, Dan Auerbach's (of #theblackkeys) latest project, performed songs off their recent album "Yours, Dreamily" to 250 people at The Housing Works in New York City last night. I've been lucky to have shot Dan in his various projects a number of times since 2008, and to be invited to shoot this event. I got there early to secure a spot right in front of Dan (having been at soundcheck I knew where his set up was going to be). It's a small space with a very low stage so he, or the end of his guitar, was often just a couple of inches from my lens. In this shot he's lurched forward while playing a solo, which caught me by surprise but I still like the result." As told to @Rolling Stone by photographer @SachaLecca
