Photo by @carltonward // (5 of 8) Further south in Biscayne National Park, fly fishing guides Bob Branham (pink) and Doug Lillard (blue), release a permit they caught by sight casting on the shallow grass flats of Biscayne Bay. I used an underwater housing with a large dome port to capture this split-level view. Biscayne National Park is 95% water, but also protects extensive mangrove forest around the edge of the bay and the northern most parts of the Florida Reef offshore. The park’s Elliot Key is also the first island in the Florida Keys. Please stay tuned the rest of today for more #FloridaWild.
