I had the pleasure and honor of visiting "Rita's Staples" today in Montauk Long Island. Rita has spent the past 30 years of her life running a rescue for all forms of livestock. Her compassion and love for these animals warmed my heart. This sweet little pony named Lucky. Was born mentally disabled. This little birdie has some problems with her feet. Thanks to Rita these beautiful souls are living full and healthy lives. But sadly the stable has fallen on hard times. Might not be here very long. If your heart feels obliged.
