For me there's something moody and atmospheric about train stations. People commuting to work, meeting new people, saying goodbye to others.
One of the moodiest in town is Alexanderplatz. Covered in morning light with only a few people waiting on the platform. It's a place of many stories. What is yours?

I was asked by @deutschebahn to help spreading the news about a charity photo contest they have currently launched. The German railway company will donate 5 Euro to the „Bahnhofsmission“ for every submitted photo and therefore support the refugee relief.
Here’s how to take part (German residents only):
1. Take a photo of a train station and tell us a short personal story about it
