1896 woman’s safety bicycle, currently on display in #ObjectProject. This photo is from around 1930. Curator Roger White calls the ornate and mysterious object the “Hope Diamond of bicycles.” It was embellished by Tiffany & Co. with silver and precious gems. Roger is following leads about its owner, Mittie Noble Wiley, and recently connected with two of her great-grandchildren.
